Diddy Blogs About Name Use In Britain

All publicity is good publicity, just ask Diddy.

After being sued by London-based music producer RichardDiddyDearlove, who claimed the America-based Diddy’s name change caused confusion for him, a lawsuit that concluded in Diddy no longer being able to “trade in the U.K. as ‘Diddy’,” Diddy has blogged about the incident on his myspace page, simply stating:

“It’s only fair that since he said he used Diddy first, that he be allowed to use it.” “I am blessed that I have many, many names to choose from and on October 17th, Press Play will be released from Diddy in the U.S. and from P.Diddy in Europe.”

Comments on the blog included over 47 posts from a myspace member asking Diddy fans to join his fan club and over 100 kudos.
